HI,
I've some doubts about the product releases.
What is the difference between SQL SERVER 2008 and SQL SERVER 2008 R2. what are the new features available? At present before R2 release we have the product(SQL Server2008) is RTM Version?
What is meaning of R2 and RTM?
is sql server web edition also available in R2?

Check this: http://www.microsoft.com/sqlserver/2008/en/us/R2-editions.aspx
SQL Server 2008 R2 is a new version of SQL Server 2008, it's somekind of major release including new features (also some features from enterpise edition now works on standard edition).
