  Hi,

  during the upgrade from SP2 to SP3 on sql server 2005 with windows server 2003

  'OS Version: Microsoft Windows Server 2003 family, Enterprise Edition Service Pack 2 (Build 3790)'

  Product : Database Services (MSSQLSERVER)

  Product Version (Previous): 1399

  Product Version (Final) :

  Status : Failure

  Log File : C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Setup Bootstrap\LOG\Hotfix\SQL9_Hotfix_KB955706_sqlrun_sql.msp.log

  Error Number : 11032

  Error Description : Unable to install Windows Installer MSP file

  any known solution for this......

  is the SP3 install halting with error message "a recently applied update,KB955706 failed to install"

  status for all other then this is 'success'

  Thanks for reply.

  I have find the solution from log and i have to create a folder FTData at directory of

  data folder mentioned at log.

  any way Thanks.
