I understand that forums are a great place to learn about foreign software packages. The forums on this site are amongst the elite for SQL Server.
Unfortunately, there have been several (read: A LOT) of less than complex questions in the administration forum over the past few months. I sometimes enjoy reading and through and answering these questions, but would suggest it might make more sense for this to be silo'd into its own category.
Given that there is a "Newbie" section for 2000, 7.0, could there be one created for 2005 (and 2008) as well?
Thanks!

Hopefully, if there is a repository, at least the community can ask that the person should have posted there. As the posters read through the previous posts (if they do 🙂 )they will hopefully see people kindly directing the beginner questions to the appropriate forum and respond accordingly.
Then again, I might be expecting too much...
Thanks for the response!

~ wiping egg off face ~
It appears that I placed this in the wrong forum. My apologies.
I had good intentions of putting it in suggestions, but must have somehow clicked the wrong line. I bet my mouse driver is messed up... yea, that's it. 😉
Regardless, I look forward to seeing posts there.
Thanks again.
Kyle
