  I have a user that is having a problem installing SQL Server 2005 on Windows 2003, 64-bit.

  The error is:

  Could not find an install of type 3 for instance MSSQLSERVER

  Has anyone encountered this error?

  I have installed three instances on two diff 64 bit servers w/o issue.
