SQL Native Client Configuration

    Hi All,

    I would like to know in SQL ...If we change the order of the Protocols in the SQL Native Client Configuration.. Do we need to restart the services for sql server. Please can some body help me out.

    The documentation doesn't indicate that you have to restart the server. This makes sense, as this setting affects the provider, not the server.

    For enabling/disabling a protocol, you need to restart the server though.
