Actually...i got a weird icon in the enterprise manager when i connecting to the server and i not sure wat is it ? hopefully..anyone can help out.
In the enterprise manager, when we wanna connect to server...we will see an icon tat show successfully. However, in my enterprise manager, when I perform connection, it seem the icon change to something else,where the icon had an lighting seem of icon beside it.do anyone know wat had happens?? ur help is most appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Is the EM client you are using 7.0? In the 7.x version of the client tools, the server shows what looks like a red lightening bolt next to the server. This is simply an indication that you are connected to the server.
I've known of users who thought that the red part of the icon meant there was an error somewhere but this is not the case. This was done away with the SQL Server 2000 and you merely see a green arrow after a successful connection. I hope this helps.
