SQL database service will not start during SQL 2005 install

    Hello,

    I am running a MS 2003 server workgroup, server is newly built and i am trying to install SQL 2005. During SQL database portion of install it attempts to start service but fails, and thus installation cannot continue. I have been able to install SQL 2005 express with no issues.

    Can anyone tell me why the services wont start?

    Anything in the event log? Anything in the error log?
