Was going to install SQL Server 2008 R2 on Windows 2008 R2 cluster. I ran validation test there was a warning message - and it detected unsigned drivers on one or more of the nodes.
This was the warning message under system configuration – validate all drivers signed
Device name - Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Power Meter Device
Device class – SYSTEM
Driver Version - 6.1.7600.16385
Driver Date = 6/21/2006 12:00:00 AM
Manufacturer – Microsoft
Inf Name - acpipmi.inf
Device ID - ACPI\ACPI000D\2&DABA3FF&1
Description - Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Power Meter Device
I didn’t know about this driver or if this warning can be ignored. Does anyone know what this driver is and if I can go ahead with the install or how I get it resolved? Thank you.

I had the same problem. Copy the "acpipmi.ini" (C:\Windows\inf) file from the node who works to the other node. Now everthing works fine.
