Receiving continuous errors that state that the SQL Browser service was unable to process a client request. Sometimes it even locks out use of Management studio and requires a restart to the service.
New active/passive cluster build: SQL 2008 Std Ed. SP2/Win 2008 R2 Ent Ed. (64bit). SQL Browser logs on as a domain acct/start up type: automatic
Named instance has appropriate port and firewall is set to ANY
Checked out this blog:
http://blogs.msdn.com/sql_protocols/archive/2006/02/27/unable-to-connect-to-a-sql-server-named-instance-on-a-cluster.aspx ,but I wonder if something is going on with the SQL requests sent to sql from the app (HPSIM)??? Lame query possibly?

Hello
I am seeing the same errors in our Windows Event logs, "The SQLBrowser service was unable to process a client request", but we have not needed to restart SQL Browser.
There is a Microsoft KB describing your issue. We are looking at applying the fix. It might be worth taking a look at this KB.
