Sorry for the error in the HTML code of the part called Back to Java that makes it necessary to scroll the page to read, I think it is being fixed soon. That section also contains a minor error. The following text is of course wrong:

The correct text should be:
"Assuming that the computer running the Java application and the computer running SQL Server is configured to use the same time zone I can use the SimpleDateFormat object to get the current time zone, then use the function getOffset."
