Dear All,
I have an SQL Agent program that is taking up lots of CPU and when I did a trace to see if it is running, it does not seem to be doing anything and I find it very odd. I am using SQL Server 2000, would anyone please let me know how I would be able to sort this problem please.

what are the steps of the job? Can you post the SQL being executed?

In addition, why do you think this job is taking up all the CPU? Have you traced this when you start the job?
