Hi - Stretch your memories back to SQL 6.5
This weekend I had a trace running on my pc to trace user connections to our 6.5 server. I wasn't logging to a save file - I was going to cut and paste this morning. The connection to the server died sometime yesterday, and so did my trace window. My question is this: Is there a secret temp file somewhere on my pc or on the server that would have the contents of the trace window before the connection was lost? I really need that info, and yes, I learned my lesson about saving to a file in the filter config.
Thanks,
Leslie

Wow, don't remember, but I'd guess there is. Search for any files that have a last timestamp in the time frame and start looking through them.
