Hi,
I just configured an Active/Active SQL 2000 server and everything is working great except for one thing that kinda puzzled me.
If I go into enterprise manager and stop a SQL Server. The service stops as expected. Now when I start it back up via enterprise manager all resources come back online except the SQL SERVER AGENT and the SQL SERVER FULLTEXT. I have to manually bring these to resources back online.
Is this expected to occur?
Thanks,
Ion

You'll want to use Cluster Administration (cluadmin.msc) to manage cluster resources such as SQL Server. You can get cluadmin.msc (and the rest of the administrative tools) by install the adminpak.msi from the Windows 2000 Advanced Server CD (should be in the i386 directory).
