Hello,
Is it possible to have two pairs of FCI's within the same Availability Group? The first FCI is the primary and the second FCI configured as a secondary.

Yes but the instances need to be hosted on different nodes of the cluster.

This will significantly increase the number of nodes required in the cluster to support your configuration. Why the need for multiple FCI's in the AO group?
