SQL 2008 replication

    Hi,

    anyone know if SQL replication snapshot uses OS memory rather than the SQL allocated memory? Also, is there anyway i can find out how much memory i need to add if so?

    I can't really answer how much they use but replication uses SQL jobs that call executables.  So it might be possible to measure what resources they use in the OS via performance monitor or similar.
