SQL 2008 R2 and SQL 2008 SP1 Sharing Server

    I have a server that has 2 instances of SQL Server 2008 SP1 and 1 instance of SQL 2008 R2. When I did the installs for this server I installed the SQL 2008 SP1 instances first, and then did the R2 instance last.

    Now i need to apply SP2 to one of the SQL 2008 SP1 instances. Is this going to cause any problems to my R2 instance?

    No. They are separate versions of SQL. It's like having 2005 and 2008 on one server.
