Does anyone know how to change the monitoring server in a SQL 2005 log-shipping configuration without breaking log-shipping and recreating? We have hundreds of log-shipping databases set up using a single monitor and that monitor is at end-of-life.
There has to be an easier way to do this than having a log-shipping party and having each dba recreate 40 LS configs. I know about the SQL 2000 solution, and it does not apply. I need info on SQL 2005.
