Greetings,
I apologize if this has previously been posted, but I can't seem to find an answer to my question. I am trying to set up Database Mail in 2005 and I am unsuccessful in sending a test email. I've enabled the Alert System for my SQL Server Agent and have it set to Database Mail along with my profile name.
This is the error that I am receiving:

I did find something similar in these threads and tried that user's resolution, but I continue to get the same error.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Matt

What sort of authentication to your exchange server, did you use in your mail profile?
