  Hi,

  I've seen many articles posted about how to downgrade from enterprise to standard edition, but cannot seem to find any about how to downgrade from enterprise to developer (which we want to do as we recently discovered that a few of our development machines are running with enterprise licenses).

  Is the method the same as downgrading to standard (ie, backing everything up, full uninstall, etc..etc...) or is there a simpler way for this task?

  nope, backup, detach, uninstall, reinstall.

  sp_help_revlogin to save logins.
