Spilt table rows while maintaining RID

  I have a unique requirement, need help.

  I have a table with n weeks of data. Every month, I am going to fetch few weeks of data & put that in a backup table. But, while inserting those records in the backup table, the existing RowID from the main table should not change.

  Is there any way to retain the existing Row Identifier even after table split?
