Hi Everyone,
Could anyone tell me the difference between Latin and Spanish collations. We have recently sold our SQL Server based application to a client in Spain who would like to enter a mixture of English and Spanish.
It seems you can enter Spanish Characters ok in a Latin database and therefore I was wondering if I need a Spanish collation?
Many thanks for your help.

The collation will matter in regards to sorting and comparison. For instance I'm going to guess that the way the Spanish collation handles the accented letters handles that differently than the Latin collation.
