Greetings,
A while back I set up sp_send_cdosysmail based on the code from http://support.microsoft.com/kb/312839. For 3 months it was working beautifully, but has recently stopped. The failures table shows the following
Description of Failure: A dynamic link library (DLL) initialization routine failed.
Output from Failure: Description: A dynamic link library (DLL) initialization routine failed.
Comment about Failure: sp_OAGetErrorInfo for sp_OASetProperty sendusing.
It's a SQL 20004 instance on a Windows 2000 SP 4 server
I haven't found anything helpful in other posts so I'm hoping for some help here. Thanks!

Yup, a restart is going to be my next step, but I really hate giving the answer, "I restarted it and the problem went away." 😛
