sp_help db results

    When I run sp_helpdb databasename I get one window that states that my db_size is 1759.69 MB and the window below it states that my mdf file is 1548864 KB and my ldf file is 253056 KB which totals up to 1801920 KB. What is the difference between these two totals ( and 42 is not the answer i'm looking for, Hitchhikers fans:P)?

    they are the same value 1024 KB = MB, not 1000 KB

    So 1801920 KB / 1024 = 1759.69 MB
