Environment:
Single Node cluster
SQL Server 2005 with default instance
O.S: Windows 2003 with KB937444, Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 & Windows Installer 4.5
The upgrade of SQL 2005 cluster fails with error below;
On "Setup Support Rules" error appear as "Not clustered or cluster service is up and online"

Do you have any services besides the database engine installed on this cluster such as SSIS or SSRS?

Any other error messages?
What SP Level is SQL Server?

what is the exact error you are getting. can you post an extract from the log?
