Simple database differential backup

  I am trying to use Netbakup SQL agent to do full and differential backup for simple mode database, I got message in Netbackup sql client that differential backup operation is prohibited for database mode that is simple.

  I have tried to search whether the same kind restriction existed in SQL 2000 Enterprise Manager itself, however I am not able to find any reference in SQL2000 itself saying that a simple mode database can not have differential backup. Can any one advise? Tks.

  I found out that this is a bug in Netbackup SQL agent, enclosed is the url link. Our SQLAgent is at 3.4.1GA and it needed to be upgrade to 3.4.1.3.
