Shrinking Transaction Log the right way

  • Hello All,

We are trying to shrink a huge transaction log. The database recovery model is FULL. I am not a SQL expert, thus I would appreciated if you could provide me with detailed steps on how to accomplish this task based on BEST PRACTICES. I have looked at a lot of blogs and post and they all have different approach and don't tell you if their approach have a bad consequences.

    Thanks

    Yassar
