Dear Member,
Hope you can help me out. I want to show Report Description and Author in my report. Is there a easy way to do this by expression.
I take a look at the build in functions like =Global!ReportName etc but the items I need are not included.

When you say author, do you mean the person who created the report in BIDS / Report Builder, or the person who deployed it to the server?
Also when you say description, do you mean the description in the properties of the report, or the description entered when creating the report?

Hi,
Just to clarify. I mean the Description properties witch you can enter in Visual Studio under the section report. The tekst you enter here will be used when you deploy the report to the server.
I want to make a standaard field and use this description field to put the contents in my header.

You would have to build a second query which uses the global report name parameter and query the report server catalog table for the description column.
