sharepoint + sql 2008

    When i try to point the database server (sql 2008), username+password i get this error:

    The password specefied for the username account is invalid.

    Im 100% sure that the username/password i typed in (a domain account) is typed in correct.

    have u used

    domain\userid and then Password
