When trying to install SQL 2008 and the checks come back as passed and no errors detected. How ever about 60% of the install I receive the following error: -
Error Writing to File:Microsoft.AnalysisServices.AdomdClient.dll. Verify that you have access to that directory.
Then the install fails  Any have a work around for this?
Thanks

Is the installation location on a local disk? Can you check that disk is available in windows explorer?
Have you Googled for the error and check for solutions.
From what I know is if SQL Server 2008 Installation fails due to some reason, you cannot re run the installation until you uninstall it from Control Panel -> Add Remove Program

So after repeated attempts, the installation is failing with the same error?

Copy the DVD contents to one of the local drives and run the setup. (check for disk space, I assume you must be having enough space.)
