I recently upgraded sql server from 2005 to 2008R2. Every runs fine.
SSIS runs fine too.
My network engineer got some information from some monitor network tool today:
10.50.10.55-SNOCSQ11 - MSftesql (NTService : msftesql) DOWN since 9:26:09 PM, 4/11/2012
10.50.10.55-SNOCSQ11 - DTS (NTService : MsDtsServer) DOWN since 8:42:31 PM, 4/11/2012
What does this mean?
I see in service panel of the server intergration service is running, I didn't see a microsoft search service listed.
Could above two service are old from sql 2005, 2008 no longer use them?
Thanks

Did you do your upgrade on the day that is referenced as the last day the services were running? Is everything running correctly now? Those would be my first 2 concerns before even worrying about if the services are deprecated.

I believe that dts is now MsDtsServer100 (10.0) and MsDtsServer110 (11.0). Full Text Indexing is MSSQLFDLauncher. So I think the monitor is looking for specific service names that have changed.
