Okay, well this may be a silly question - BUT is there anyway to seperate out a timestamp in a table to be JUST date and JUST time (i.e. have the information in two columns)??

In sqlserver there is no such thing as date or time, you only have datetime and smalldatetime which is date with time. ![]()
If you want to stich with datepart only you might put the timepart to 00:00:00 and vica versa time to datepart 1900-01-01. ![]()
