Scripting Error

  • Greetings.

Trying to script all my procs and functions and keep getting this error.

Error 21305: [SQL-DMO] Unexpected parameter or other condition.

Anybody seen it or know why?

    MS search yields nothing..

    Cheers,

    Crispin

  • Not much but have a look at http://dbforums.com/arch/72/2002/12/635572

  • Actually just worked out why.

I had the list of procs open and selected all, script.

    Error.

    Another guy could script them.

I dropped a proc and he then got the same error.

He had dropped a proc earlier and I had not refreshed the view.

Seems if you add a proc or drop one and try script the using EM without refreshing the view, it dies.

EM probably uses the procs in it's current list and does not create a new list when scripting.
