Save to File

    Hi,

    I'm trying to enable the save to file option when configuring profiler. It is enabled, however, when I check it, it immediately unchecks it. I'm using 9.0.4035 with the sa account.

    What do I need to do / set to get this to work?

    Thanks in advance.

    update: OK - pretty retarded but you have to run the trace first, then save it, then the properties will allow you to save to file going forward.

    I wonder if that's a certification question.

    Thanks for the update. Off the top of my head I wasn't sure why it wouldn't work, but then again I always would set the trace off and then save things.q
