I have production SQL server and DR Sql Server, want to restrict some users from running query on my production server, so have made same user id on DR , do i need to have the same user id on production too, can i go ahead and delete the same from production server, if some one can plz reply me back with appropriate solution

IF the user needs to access the production server than you need the user on the production server.

Thanx, but user does not need to have access to Production he will just need read only access to DR site where he can run the query, does he need to have the same id on production too
