    care to go into a bit more detail on what problems you are having?

    Did you read the MSDN link in the last post of the forum thread I referenced?

    It talks about using the sp_startjob stored procedure to start a job. That shoudl be able to be used by anything that can connect to the database and execute that stored procedure. If all else fails, the sp_startjob procedure should work for you.
