Hi,
Can you check the following things
- What is the status of DB mirroring currently?
- is this issue happening intermittently or continuously? if intermittently happening this issue check if there any jobs(Backups(SAN backups),Rebuild..any other application related jobs) are running during that time.
- is it SYNC/ASYNC with/without Automatic failover
- Telnet the ports between the Servers
