  Hi

  we have a requirement to implement RLS for a finance report.

  We're discussing the pros and cons of implementing RLS on the DB or in PowerBi.

  My question is, if I implement RLS on the SQL DB will this be reflected in the PowerBI dataset?

  So that User A only sees User A information and User B only sees User B's information in the PowerBI report

  Or

  Will the PowerBI dataset only contain the data that the RLS security allows the service account to see and the RLS will be lost in the dataset

  Hope that makes sense
