Hello experts, Is there a way to reverse engineer an existing cube to create a project file? I inherited a cube recently and I'm surprised that no one has the project file. Any help and guidance is appreciated very much!

From BIDs (or SSDT if you're using 2012), go to File, Open, Analysis Services Database. This will open up a dialog box. Put in the server and OLAP database name. That's all there is to it. Then you can save or do whatever you wish with the project.
