Hi, Brian,
Thanks for sharing the Clustering experience with us. I have a question for you regarding recovery master database from a good backup (disk) in the clustered (active/active) database environment (Windows 2000 Advanced Server and SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Edition with SP2). Here is the situation: A shared disk (disk 1) which master database reside in failed. SQL Server is not accessible.
How do you recovery the master database? Does regular restoring process work (i.e. rebuild master device then restore master database from the backup) ? Do you have to uncluster/recluster SQL Server?
