Restore the data on particular date

    Hi Guys,

    I am new to DBA work, i am not sure how to restore the backup file on particular date. Here we will back up the data to one Backup_data_Dump.bak file. So all the back up files will be dumped to one file. i would like to get the backup file on particular date.

    Can you please help me ASAP?

    To start, you will need to run a RESTORE HEADERONLY against the file to determine which file to restore.

    Here is the entry in Books Online that should help you with the syntax of the command:

    Still i am getting the latest date. unable to see the whole list of dates in the dump.
