Restore SQL 6.5 database from .DAT

  I have inherited a machine with 6.5 on it (wonderful, huh?)

  I have a database (.DAT file) from another 6.5 machine that I have to load on this new inherited machine as a new database. Any ideas as to where to get started on getting some help with this? I am not very familar with 6.5, and since I don't have the RESTORE command, I am not sure where to start or how to do this.

  I from past speaking with other folks do not believe you can restore a 6.5 database without knowing the device history to make sure the restore is done in a specific sequence. In fact most people I know import the data from the other database in.
