How about and article request facility.
For example, Brian's security example has been requested in the forums before.

That's a good one. I'll pass that along though usually authors approach us with topics. However we do have a monthly newsletter for authors only, so we could add in a list of requests to it.

Steve,
I take it that the authors only newsletter is separate from the site newsletter?
If so is it for the guest authors such as myself?
Thanks

David, didn't you receive one sent by Andy on Sunday, 01/25?

No, but we have the worlds most crap spam filter so it may be in there somewhere.
Is there any chance you could tell me the full senders address so I can hunt it down in the forest of Viagra and the caves of penile enlargement and the plains of weight loss?

Send me a private message with your email address. There are two mails from January. I'll forwards them to you.

David, the author letter is for all authors and comes directly from Andy. The last one was this past week. I deleted it, but I've let Andy know and he should try to contact you.

Steve is really my admin assistant.
David, let me know if you need a change made.

Thanks Steve & Andy,
Frank sent me copies and I was finally able to find my own copy in the company SPAM filter. Talk about looking for a needle in the hay stack

One of the things I've tried to do is standard the from/subject/layout of notifications so you can write a rule and/or add to your whitelist so notifications make it through. I know Brian has changed the newsletter a couple times, we'll try to keep it static as well.
