Reporting Services SQL 2008

  • I have two parameters called A and B that have "Allow blank" property selected for both. When I clicked on the report the stored procedure executed and rendered the report. Is there a way to stop the report to run automatically unless user has to enter value for one of them. Thanks.

  • You probably also have a default value set for the parameter.

  • Yes. The default values are "blank" for both. Perhaps if I don't set the default values for the parameters then they will prompt for the inputs? I will try and see.

Thanks for your help. Really appreciate it.
