  Hello,

  Im a newbie to Reporting services,please help me in solving my problem.

      In my application I need to pass the connection string to the report dynamically based on the user logged in.I created a custom data extension for that.Here Im not knowing how to pass the connection string.

  I know that I have to copy the dll of my custom data extension in the reportserver,reportdesigner bin directories and I have to configure the corresponding config files.Please help me in implementing my custom data extension.

  I must be confused

  You need to pass the whole connection string for each different user?

  Just so I know what to keep away from, what sort of datasource are you using that requires this?

  Can't you just pass in the users current credetials?
