Hey all,
I know you can do this via a custom assembly as per here:
http://www.sqlservercentral.com/articles/Reporting+Services+(SSRS)/65811/
but have MS decided to give us a style sheet or similar in an easy to use format for RS?
Most companies have a style or set of styles that they want there reports to conform to and centrally change (with knock on to all reports that use that style). Just basic stuff so - header looks like this, footer like this, tablix has a header of this colour with this font etc.
If they havent implemented this - does anyone know why? Seems like a sensible thing to do and i am guessing (and it is a guess) it wouldnt be hard (for each style have a header\footer\body style, and a style defined for each type of object).
Would be even better if the style sheets could be hirarchial. So child wins out.
Interested in feedback

No idea why this still isn't implemented in SSRS.
I wish they did.
Maybe you can create a feature request on Connect.
I'll vote it up 🙂

Currently, there are only 73 votes - including the vote I just submitted. With such a low vote count, I would be surprised if the request is granted.
