I have requirement where there is report will have lot of data as output of one query from table /table join.
What is best approach to design such report.

Huge data is relative I have created a report that default to 170 plus pages in test box so you know it will be more than 300 pages in production, report this size could be better exported to PDF or Word if you are in SSRS 2008. The advice you need to know clean T-SQL because I write ANSI SQL my code was very small.

If you just need to dump data from a query into excel try SSIS.
SSRS does not seem to "like" exporting huge amounts of data to excel
in my experience...
