  The Gurus,

  I have been having problems configuring my report server. I have SQL Server 2005 developer edition installed on Windows Vista Business.

  I got the following error message

  "There was an error while refreshing the reporting Services Configuration Manager. The exception details are:

  A connection to the computer cannot be established.

  Details:

  Access denied"

  What can I do to resolve this please?

  Are you receiving this error message when you try to connect by using the Reporting Services Configuration Manager? I am assuming so, but just trying to get some more details around what steps you are taking. If you go to the Report Manager http://localhost/reports what are you seeing?

  Just make sure you have followed all of the steps from running SSRS on Vista:
