I noted in a MS SQL RS help file, that the language for writing expressions within reports is VB.NET. Within our IT dept, our standard language is C#, which we try to adhere to. Does this report Designer have the flexibility to choose the language you use within expressions, or is your only choice VB.NET?

AFAIK, the answer is no, however, allowing users to develop extensive expressions embedded in reports is just asking for troubles. In enterprise environment I would recommend restricting expression code to calling custom assemblies which, naturally, can be in any .NET language. See http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/en-us/rsprog/htm/rsp_prog_rdl_6d0i.asp on using custom assemblies with Report Services.
