Replication Monitor found error -cannot drop table being used for replication

  Hi,

  Transactional replication found error cannot drop table being used for replication, Replication setup first time synchronized to subscription database after replication setup completed. checked record count matched both publication and subscription database also table name available on both the databases  .

  But still error appeared like cannot drop table being used for replication. what could be reason? please suggest.

  The table is being published in an replication publication or subscription.

  You need to remove the article from the publication before you can modify the PK or drop that table on the publisher or subscriber.
