We had replication jobs set up on Server A. The OS and SQL Server including Master and MSDB databases are installed on the C drive. All of the other databases were on a separate drive. That drive through a bad block so it was replaced and the data was restored. Now the replication jobs between Server A and B are failing.
Here is the error message that is received when looking at the job history on server B where the replication job lives (this server had no hardware issue).
The process could not retrieve security information from the Subscriber for Distributor 'SERVERA'. The step failed.

Where is your distribution database located? You may have to check the security in your replication.
The easiest way is to rebuild your replication sometimes.
